Day-by-day itinerary

Arrival: Arrive at Guwahati and proceed to Kaziranga (5 hours' drive / 250 km).
Check-in: Green Reed Resort by Meenakshi, from 1:00 PM.
Evening (optional): Nearby tea gardens, subject to time.
Dinner: At the hotel.

Safari: Around 7:30 AM, about 2.5 hours, any one range of your choice out of the four.
Breakfast: Back at the hotel.
Midday: Kaziranga Orchid & Biodiversity Park, 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
Evening: Cultural programme at the Orchid Park from 6:30 PM.

Elephant safari: 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM, about 45 minutes, in the Central or Western Range.
Breakfast: Back at the lodge.
Midday: Kakochang Waterfall.
Evening: Free to explore the local markets.

Boat safari: On the Brahmaputra along the northern edge of the park — a different view of the wildlife, with a good chance of seeing the Gangetic river dolphin.
Breakfast: Back at the lodge.
Departure: Check out and drive to Guwahati.
