Tea gardens, a full morning jeep safari, the Orchid Park, a cultural evening and an elephant safari on the last morning.
Day 1 — Arrival and tea gardens
- Arrival: Arrive at Guwahati, meet our representative and proceed to Kaziranga (5 hours' drive / 250 km).
- Check-in: Green Reed Resort by Meenakshi, check-in from 1:00 PM.
- Evening (optional): Visit the nearby tea gardens, subject to time.
- Dinner: At the hotel, usually including local specialities.
Day 2 — Jeep safari, Orchid Park and cultural programme
- Safari: Depart around 7:30 AM for the morning jeep safari (about 2.5 hours) in any one range of your choice out of the four.
- Breakfast: Return to the hotel for breakfast.
- Midday: Kaziranga Orchid & Biodiversity Park, 2:00 to 4:00 PM — a quiet showcase of Assam's floral diversity.
- Evening: Cultural programme at the Orchid Park from 6:30 PM.
Day 3 — Elephant safari, Kakochang Waterfall, departure
- Elephant safari: 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM, about 45 minutes, in the Central or Western Range — closer encounters with rhino, deer and buffalo.
- Breakfast: Back at the lodge.
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM, then on to Kakochang Waterfall.
- Departure: Proceed to Guwahati.
