Welcome to Kaziranga Safari Booking. In these terms the word “you” refers to the direct user or viewer of this website, and “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Kaziranga Safari Booking.

Thank you for visiting our website. We respect the privacy and the data of our online customers, and we assure you that the personal information you provide will be used only for the purpose it was given for. Your access to this website and your use of our services are governed by the terms and conditions set out below. If you make any transaction on the website, you are bound by the policies that apply to such transactions.

Bookings and payment

For safari bookings made on this website, the full amount is collected online at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed only once the payment has been received and a voucher has been issued by e-mail.

For tour packages and hotel bookings, we collect an advance payment to hold the booking on a confirmed basis. The balance may be paid on arrival at the destination, but before our services begin. We hold the sole right to decide the mode of payment and the amount payable in advance, as it varies with the nature of the services offered.

Full payment is required in advance during the peak season of Kaziranga tourism (Christmas, New Year and festival periods) in order to hold bookings at hotels and resorts. We reserve the right to change, modify or withdraw an offer at any time at our own discretion and without prior notice.

If the hotel mentioned is unavailable, alternative accommodation will be arranged in a hotel of a similar category.

Payment methods

Payment can be made online through our payment gateway by UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking or wallet. Foreign nationals may also pay by currency notes, traveller's cheque, or Master / Visa / American Express credit card. Where a payment is made by credit card, any bank charges applicable will be added to the total amount and payable along with it.

Cancellation and refunds

If you postpone or cancel your tour or travel for any unavoidable reason, you must inform us in writing. Cancellation charges take effect from the date on which we receive your written intimation by e-mail. The following cancellation policy applies to tour packages and hotel bookings:

• 30 days or more prior to arrival — 10% of the tour cost.
• 15 to 29 days prior to arrival — 30% of the tour cost.
• 07 to 14 days prior to arrival — 40% of the tour cost.
• 02 to 06 days prior to arrival — 50% of the tour cost.
• Less than 48 hours, or no show — no refund.
• Jeep safari and elephant safari amounts — non-refundable.

Safari bookings in particular

• Safari bookings are non-transferable, non-cancellable and non-refundable once the voucher has been issued.
• All reservations inside the tiger reserve are provisional and may be changed or cancelled by the Forest Department without prior information. Where a safari is cancelled by the park authority, we will refund the safari amount or move you to another available slot.
• The elephant safari slot (5:00 AM – 6:00 AM or 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM) is allotted one day before the safari date and will be informed to you.
• Sharing safari may be cancelled if there are not enough sharing passengers on that date. In that case you will have the option to pay for a full jeep and proceed with the safari, or take a refund of the sharing amount.
• Visitors must carry the original ID whose number was given at the time of booking. Entry may be refused without it.
• Additional charges may apply for camera use inside the park, as decided by the park authority.
• No private vehicle is allowed inside the tourism zone. Visitors travel in registered vehicles only.
• Any day visit to Kaziranga during the rainy season is provisional and may be cancelled at short notice depending on weather, for the safety of visitors. Such bookings are made at the visitor's own risk and no refund can be claimed if cancelled due to bad weather.

Park rules

• Carrying firearms of any kind is not permitted within the Tiger Reserve.
• Pets are not allowed inside the Tiger Reserve.
• Walking or trekking inside the reserve is strictly prohibited.
• Driving inside the Tiger Reserve after sunset is prohibited.
• Visitors must carry a litter bag and bring back all non-biodegradable litter. Littering inside the reserve invites severe penalties.
• Playing music of any kind within the Tiger Reserve is strictly prohibited.
• Blowing horns and driving above the speed limit are strictly prohibited within the reserve.
• Shouting at, teasing or chasing animals, or attempting to feed them, is prohibited and invites severe penalties.

Who we are

We are a travel agency which deals and operates in safari bookings across Kaziranga. We are not the official website of Kaziranga National Park. We act only as an intermediary for the booking of safaris, hotels and tour packages.

Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to Bokakhat jurisdiction only.
